Thermostat not calling for heat
WebbI believe the issue with many of their thermostats is that they are power stealing thermostats, meaning the thermostat is powered by the two wires going from the boiler to the t-stat when the t-stat is not calling for heat. This can cause problems with the system operating correctly in the on cycle. This means that it is very likely the Smart Thermostat which is at fault. I have been in communication with Tado, but to be honest I am at a loss to describe just how bad some - but not all - of their support staff are.
