Web15 Aug 2024 · Overall I am very impressed with this rod. It isn't quite as fast as the bvk was, but I'm ok with that. It is still a fast action rod, though if you are looking for something blisteringly fast you might want to look at a different rod. It handles overweighted lines and appropriately weighted lines very well. WebThe Axiom II-X is a very fast rod good for big open flats with a lot of wind that you need line speed to help penetrate though. The Axiom II is still a fast action rod but has more feel and is for a little slower and deeper loads while casting. Both are huge improvements over the Lefty Kreh.
