WebDec 25, 2024 · There is a fair amount of literature that suggests Greenhills formula should have a constant of 180 to 200 when being applied to bullets of current manufacture. A constant of 200 brings Greenhill in much better alignment with observed behavior. WebJan 29, 2007 · So far my experiences with my gun, boolits and loads is in line with the Greenhills formula and I find boolits longer than about 0.75" do not stabilize well beyond 100 yards. In fact, anything much over 265 gr. groups poorly at 100 yards and many keyhole even if groups are good at 50 yards.
