It … WebJan 5, 2011 · This weekend was the first real cold snap and when my truck is running gas will pour out of the front tank at the gas cap. (This has happened for the last 3 winters) I took both caps off so there was no pressure build up and it made no difference the gas still poured out the front tank. This only happens in the winter and it lasts all winter.$$$$.

At the gas pump filling my truck and about the time the pump trips, I notice gas pouring out from somewhere right above my fuel tank. Not like crazy amount but enough to get your attention.
