Once you get the bigger O2 tanks and/or the Moth though you never have to touch em again. Keep in mind that both the Cyclops and Seamoth now have sonar modules that make finding your way in dark places a lot easier. IGP has said he even prefers the Seamoth sonar module to the lights even when he can use them. #3.
