Has not restarted since. did two normal uninstall and re install, then two time Clean per instructions here. Same thing.... In ASIO driver mode, change to 32 or 64 buffer and in WDM mode slide the slider to the left. That's all you need to do, if you have a sound card, other than an onboard card. Cj

Basically you have to make a loop on your audio card. Play a test tone via a track in Sonar and take the output of your audio card and run it in to an input of the same card and record the test tone back in to Sonar.

I use a 2i2 on my laptop, with a buffer size of 64. That's a latency of 1.5ms, or an overall latency of 4.7ms. I can use it with a buffer of 32, but I get dropouts on bigger projects.
